My day job is being an iOS developer for Trimble Outdoors. We make mapping and sporting applications for iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch), Android, and numerous other mobile phones.
They hired me last February as an iOS developer. I said, "but I've never written an iOS application and I don't know the language even". "That's okay, you'll learn as you go!" True, and it was interesting at that!
My first app is a mapping application for viewing and editing your trips that get stored on Backpacker magazine's servers.
Today is the last day to get it free; so if you wanna try it, at least download it today so it's free for you!

I would like you make a fish finding app, so next time I go fishing I can actually catch something besides seaweed! Great app BTW but my ipad does not 3G is there another app that I can get for my iphone that can share information via icloud once synced?
Paul;
After reading this it reminded me that your videos on the ipad (via youtube)look amazingly crisp and sharp with lots of detail. Almost makes me want to replace my aging Windows machine with an apple laptop...
Tim
The video quality on these Macs is pretty stellar; granted, there are fantastic cards for Windows boxes, too, although the video controller has less effect than the video display. My desktop iMac 27 has a gorgeous display as does my work iMac 21. No comparison to the Windows monitors I've used although if you spent a good amount on one, it would likely be similar.
I like watching videos on the iPad; that's about all I do with it mostly because I work too many hours on the computer for my day job so away from it, I want to be away from it!! :)
You're actually reminding me that I need to find a place to push my videos so iTunes can sync them...
Good article. These days our number-one priority is not to waste the time and money. Virtual data room providers are win-win for any company. The advantages are countless.
